Try www.edmunds.com or www.kbb.com, or check Ebay or Hemmings.

$8,720. good luck finding someone to pay that. look for people in mid life crisis.

Convertible, Greenwood package, only 33,000 miles-sounds like a great ride- wish I had room in the garage for another toy. List it for $11,000 and take $10,500.

Some people like the modified looks, but in the back of their mind there is a little voice asking, "Was this car raced, or beaten,, driven hard or just made to look pretty? This type of aftermarket dressing at this stage, actually decreases the retail value. Young kids will be your best market to sell to, but they also don't have the most money to buy it. With the mileage, your looking between $7K and $11K.

Looking at a 1987 convertible corvette. Needs some cosmetic work but the motor is in good shape. Has 65,000 miles. It is an automatic with 350 engine. What would be a good price to pay for it?

With cosmetic work, look in the area of &10,000 to clean it up. Paint job alone will do that. Wheels and tires done right is near $3,000 if you want to go that way. I'd offer to buy it for $6,000, but let it go if he insists over $12,000. This year is not the best right now for price. Go on line and look at what's on the market. Excellent (showroom) condition is around $13,000. Poor condition is $4,500. Mid range is what you say it is, is average of $6,500. Remember, you have to spend a little cash afterwords to spiff it up. It is a fun ride, looks good on the street, but is not a race car nor does it have much power as you'd expect in a Corvette. Just say EPA and smog in the same sentence, and you have the reason.
