Can I put a crate motor5'7 in to my 305 powered Corvtte I few small detsils I hope
that car needs a new engine- it did from the day it was born- not only are the C-4s the worst "Corvettes" ever built, but you have the first year! omg- I would rather break my knuckles with a hammer than be forced to own one of those- WHY are you spending money on that thing? (Now to be more Positive) just sell it if you can and buy a C-3 or a C-5- probably be cheaper in the long run-
Chevy sells crate motors with fuel injection that are plug and play meaning they are really easy to set up. Your car has to pass smog check so keep that in mind when picking a motor. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines.html
It doesnt have to pass anything cept police cars lol,It appears to have had It had a 305 and if thats not put back in the ecm wont be right. Now a 350 motor and prom can be used if thats the set up.But in that case I think an LT1 might be in the future Cheap and not all alum like an LS motor which means lowering the front for sure.I say just whats wrong with a carburator? The Big Question?
