i have a 1978 string ray. would i be taken vaule from my car if i do not keep it stock?
Depends on the market that you're aiming for. Some folks like a vintage/antique car to be all original. Others prefer vintage/antique cars but with modern conveniences, a.k.a. modified. It's really a matter of opinion. HTH. -Jim
Yep other than tires or other normal wear items
A numbers matching car is always worth more. You can check it out at most any corvette forums on the Internet.
Keeping it stock if it's special like a limited production or anniversary model is better for value. Everyone does mild upgrades to Vette's'such as hoods. side pipes / exhaust systems, cold air intakes to supercharging & turbos, & wheels & tires.
