Where is the courtesy light relay located on a 1995 taurus sho?
Interior lights are a low current draw and usually don't use relays. What is wrong with your lights?
MY interior lights shut off about 30 seconds after i open the drivers door. Also i cannot turn on the interior lights manually on the instrument panel with the thumbwheel. According to autozone there is a relay for courtesy lights, but i dont know where it is.
GM uses a device that it calls a body control module (BCM). It controls all the lights in the car. Ford may have something similar and that's what AutoZone was talking about.
I did some searching around to see if your Taurus had a BCM with no luck. I went to RockAuto.com and saw that they sell a courtesy light relay. That's a good thing for you since they cost a lot less ($5-$13). Find out what looks like by following the path: 1995 FORD TAURUS 3.8L V6 OHV : Electrical-Switch & Relay : Courtesy Light Relay
