VIBRATION IN STEERING WHEEL AT 40 MPH

I have a 76 vette-350 automatic. Through the years I have replaced every
component on the front end including all power steering components. Recently,
while driving I noticed my steering wheel shacking violently around 40 mph.
Has anyone ever experienced the same symptoms with this type of vehicle?--

Sure you don't have a broken belt in a tire?

I agree, definitely sounds like a tire problem. If you don't drive this car much you may have flat spots on the tires. HTH. -Jim
