Hello all. I have my 1975 Corvette C3 with the vacuum actuator headlights - I'm having with the vacuum. I'm thinking about an electric changeover. How difficult is it to change it to electric? Where can I find the appropriate kit and the cost?
hello...theres alot of info on this...not to hard read on > http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/0408vet-c3-electric-headlights- conversion-kit/
It should be easy as the companies that sell them give a detailed instruction. It will be near or just over $1,000 to change it out. Go on line and type in "changing vacuum corvette headlong to electric". There also is a system to do the vacuum canister for the windshield wipers on the 68-70 Vettes also. $1200.
Catheadlights.com has the easiest to install kit, and cheapest by far.
