Did they have a LT-1 automatic in 1972. I think not but a friend said that they red in the CORVETTE BLACK BOOK that they did. I think that is a error.

I think you're right, Paul - the LT-1 engine in the '72 'vette was not available with an automatic transmission. A few LT-1-equipped cars had air-conditioning, and those are collectable.
