I am looking at a 1967 corvette roadster and want to find out history of the car,can vin be searched
nice car but the history is hard to find,I don't want to buy a car with any hidden secrets.it is in the U.S. and I live in Canada.can you help?
Yes, if you take the VIN # to your local DMV ( Dept.of Motor Vehicles) I'm pretty sure they can run the # and find out the history of the car.
You could also try www.CarFax.com.
good luck getting the car titled in canada. As far as i know its a major pita to get a u.s. vehicle titled up there.
You can run the vin, but most likely you will just come up with dealer options, and where and when the vehicle was made. You can try carfax, but I doubt a 67 corvette will be in there. My 72 chevy pickup isnt in there. Also DMV would be a hit and miss as well, they dont keep records on cars past 10 years, unless the car has a salvaged title. If it does, then you know the car was a total loss at one point, and I wouldnt buy it. Hope this helps
