Cooling fan stays running after
engine cutoff

Standard to do that, might want to check the temp, if it needs it a thermostat to allow flow, you can;t see that kind of problem and will need to remove it and drop it into boiling water to see if it opens or not. if not, you've discovered the reason the car is using the extra fan power.
