I need to replace the engine on my 2003 honda crv was wondering if that comes out the top or bottom and how long this takes on average

You are talking major surgery- it can come out either way, depending on the equipment you have- coming out the bottom, you will drop the engine and transaxle together, as a unit- this might be the easiest- but the engine can also come out the top and it can be disconnected from the tranny or not-
