I have a 67 corvette but is titled 64 is this ok?
As long as the title has the correct vin # to match it, I don't see an issue until u try to sell it.
I would have it corrected, dont want any issues if you sell it...
Investigate getting it corrected. Ask your local title and licensing authority what needs to be done to get this accomplished.
Are you using a donor car/title from another Vette? You can look up laws regarding titling a custom build, you can apply to title a scratch-built custom but there is a ton of red-tape involved, and the state would even issue you a proper VIN tag. Otherwise, if you used a 64 donor and have it titled under that 64, it would be better to leave it as that. The one thing you do not want to do is have a VIN mismatch between the tag and the title. (by "scratch-built," I mean you assembled your vette strictly from parts without starting from a donor car.)
It's okay with me ...!
