Car inspection

Asked by Feb 24, 2016 at 12:14 AM about the 1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 1986 camaro z28 needs an inspection
as it was a total loss. But it is 30 year old
and considered an antique. Does it still
require an inspection to be registered as an
antique?

My state requires an initial inspection once you register it as an antique and you get a new antique plate. After that, then no.

It's by state, without knowing what state you live in nobody can tell you.
