Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I have a t-top camero 1985 that is not running.  It still has the motor in it, and all it's parts.
They body itself is in good shape but I've not done anything to it in years.  What is a
decent price to ask for a car like this?

How much would YOU pay for something like this? How much would it cost to have a custom shop put it perfect? Might be worth the investment.~

mornin' judge- thanks for the hat- now: there were a lot of these Camaros made and they were not the most inspiring cars- all you can do is put it on Craigslist and see what you are offered- if there is no rust and all the glass is good, start at a thousand OBO- let's face it, cars that are not running are not "cars"- they are just lumps of metal takin' up space

if it's a v6 its worth next to scrap value, v8 then maybe 1000 assuming the body is good, tires are decent (road worthy) and the interior is acceptable. The third gen's dont go for a whole lot right now

if you've ever watched "the Count" on Counting Cars, you know it is possible to take a car such as yours and turn it into a goldmine...just takes some attention to detail~

Andrew, I got your message a while ago. I didn't have all the info on the car when I posted earlier. I posted this for my husband. It is a Z28 with a 305 4 barrel ....does that change anything?

I have a 1985 Z28 Camaro T top in fair condition, just put tires and a rebuilt carb in, 83,000 original miles 5 speed. I Should I invest in it and get the body work done and painted? Has a dent in door and rear bumper. Anyone have an idea if what this could be worth?
