which one is the rear hatch fuse?
The rear hatch will not latch automatically I have checked the latch itself and it unlatches fine but the automatic part is not pulling, think the fuse is blown.
no its not the fuse thats blown cause what you have to think of is that the up and down motion are all on the same fuse same as its not the motor cause if it is going up but not down the bes i can say is check your wiring and then check any switches that may be in line witht the latch
We found out that it was the wire connector, at the latch motor, that got loose by the moving parts over the years. Tightened it up and closed the female pin tighter too and now it works perfectly.
Just make sure as well that you close the hatch lightly all the time. If you shut it hard often it will ruin the motor as well. Just let the motor do the work. Just a tip.
