I have a honda passport it will drive in 4x4 low, won't go into high range drive or reverse

honda passport, tansfer case or transmission?

That sounds like a transfer case problem or at least a problem with the actuator.

The reverse problem would be the transmission as the transfer case has nothing to do with reverse.
