thank you. What regular maintenance should be done for maximum longevity? Any tips beyond regular maintenance?

yeah ,proper coolant ,changed every few years,I say proper not window wash, synthetic oil changed every 5 or 6 or sooner if your rolling in doe ,trans fluid change every 30k or so with proper fluid ,the good stuff for the V W , easy takeoffs and better fuel brand, thermostat if ever running cool, then its happy, though it may bring out a little electrical snafu now and then just to see if you still care
