Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Short version
Had to replace computer when it just stopped in the middle of the street one day
The computer i bought off ebay had a sim chip in it and my key did not
So i got another computer this time with no sim chip in it

I thought if i got the computer with no sim chip it wouldn't need to be reprogrammed
Any thoughts
I haven't been able to drive it for a year now
Yes new battery
Thank you so much
