Question type: General

I'm looking at a motor that is on Pontiac
Pickers $800 for a 455 no ring Ridge new
head gasket low compression motor he ran
it in his car until he had his motor done he
seems to be part of the crowd because
several people have commented to him I
asked him about RPM he said 4500 to 5000
sounds good . It's 6 hours from my home is
there any way to protect myself or is it just a
shot in the dark and a personality call?

Having a positive reputation on a forum or in a group helps, but it is still a shot in the dark.
