Why does my pontiac trans am turn off after 5 minutes of being on

I just switched the fuel filter and the
fuel pump from the gas tank and still
after it starts for 5 to 10 minutes I
step on the accelerator and rpm go
down and it dies it's a 97 pontiac
trans am any suggestions??

lLt1check your fule pressior reg mass air your pcm but i think its the fule press reg
