Nothing the T-300/350 & the T-400 bell housing bolt pattern are the same. But I don't know about fitment since the T-400 is bigger round & longer too. Plus don't forget to check the shifter location. Was the T-400 an option for the 80' Trans Am? I had a T-400 in a sb hot Chevy pickup. I used a 2000 rpm stall speed convertor & a "bang shift" B & M valve body.
