How do I stop my car from smelling inside

when I turn on my heat my car smells of exhaust

Fix the exhaust leak in the engine.

Also, check in your ehgine bay for any fluid (oil) leaks that may be the source. Small drips burning .on your exhaust manifold may be picked up at your fresh air intake.

It will take me a couple days to get time

The pvc hose corroded and was lying on the back of the engine
