search junk yards. sometimes good ones will have them but it will be a chore to find one in a junk yard. other than that everybody will be charging high for them

i really dont think you will... ya search junk yards, find guys parting one out. It's not going to be easy.

To make a long story short: You wont. An LS1 is too good of an engine to pick up cheap running good. If you do get one cheap, I would be suspect of how it was last running.
