Hi, I'm looking to buy a cheap car. I found several
Mercedes 300SD on craigslist with 100000-150000
miles. I was wondering how dependable these cars
are and what issues tend to arise. Thanks.

If you are looking for a cheap car. I would recommend staying away for Mercedes. Their is nothing cheap about those cars when it comes to repair and manitance. I would look for a cobalt or a focus. You can pick them up pretty cheap and parts are cheap. They made millions of them

Stay away from anything European, they are all high maintenance and the parts prices are high. Stick with domestics, you can pickup some nice full size cars very reasonable. But as with any car manufacture there are ones to stay from so do some research.
