Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 02 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo.
The thing is, its been overheating but the
fan comes on and it isn't leaking coolant.
About 2 months ago,the radiator had a tiny
leak. In order to not use a Stop Leak due to
the risk of clogging the system, I had it
professionally fixes. I wasn't able to take
the vehicle personally so i had my girlfriend
do it. But when she got home, she had a set
of fan blades. She told me the mechanic
said that the vehicle had 2 sets of blades
abd only needed one. To be quite honest I
don't remember ever seeing 2 blades. For
About a month after the vehicle worked
perfectly. Now, if I drive in town, it overheat
and I wait in traffic

There is only one fan in the car, as far as overheating did you check to see if the radiator cap is working OK? also could be the thermostat, has that been checked? Is the fan coming on when the car reaches temp? if not maby the new fan is not working again or the sensor that feeds power to the motor is not working.
