I was wondering if there is any way to get into the trunk of my 1976 jaguar xjs

Remove the rear seat. Take up the bottom of the rear seat (look for bolts you can remove) and then remove the "back" or top portion (same thing bolts that can be removed), as there should be an opening to the trunk area behind the "back" or top section.
