Another transmission, same problem

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck(f150) will not shift into
overdrive or third gear. It's an
automatic tranny with a302 engine. It
also has an eldenbrock carb and lifted
intake manifold.

you cant get answers without year and trans type.are they OEM but replaced? any trans related controls affected by induction and fuel system? list service codes if any stored in memory see what response you get. carbureted were up to 87 so what is it?
