Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is this a big issue...
Truck is running strong
but the oils around and
by the engine scare me
.. What issues am I
looking at and cost? Is
this major? Also the
power steering fluid can
has a open end on top
do I need to connect it
to some place in the
engine? I'm a chick that
loves cars and don't
mind gettig my hands
dirty. Thanks.

The oil cap is supposed to be tight. The engine is supposed to have a positive crankcase ventilation system that keeps the oil and vapors inside the engine.

Yes the crankcase ventilation sys is connected to the loose oil cap... I try to tighten up the oil cap but it just rotates. Where do I get a new or use one for this truck? Thanks for the response.
