Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Ford Bantam Rocam that just
started shuddering at low revs. Lasts a few
seconds then returns to normal. If you switch
off the engine it runs on for a bit then dies.
Some sort of preignition issue ? Please help

The running on is called dieseling. It can happen when the engine is idling too high, is overheating, the air to fuel mixture is too lean, or the gasoline has too low of an octane rating. Ignition timing that's not set correctly can cause dieseling as well. Hope that helps! Jim

It could because of the issue or issues causing the running on. Jim
