06 Ford KA always blowing hot air

Asked by Jess Jun 17, 2020 at 08:31 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 Ford KA, and I never have the heat
turned on, but my vents constantly blow out hot air.
Even when I do turn it in and switch the colder
settings, it is still really hot air. About 5 minutes into
any car journey, it gets so hot in my car I have to
open all the window. Any idea on what could be
causing this problem? I’m a bit clueless when it
comes to cars so no fancy words please

Your ac is not functioning. It may if lost compression of the coolant. I would take it to a friend that knows how to fill it. The coolant is easy to install and can be purchased at a walmart or target even.
