I have a 2011 town & country van - was driving home all of a sudden seemed to drive like something was wrong with front tires. Then it started to shimmy or sputter. Stopped and it was making a loud thumbing or knocking noise sort of like soomething was under the hood. Finally got home and when I looked the right tire rotor was bright red and bad smell

The caliper froze up, locked up on the rotor. I would suggest replacing the front calipers, brake pads, brake hoses, rotors, and replace the right front wheel bearing as I'm sure that heated up as well.
