Truck not starting

Asked by Isa_0505 Jan 19, 2017 at 01:14 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My husband's 2006 Chevy Silverado turned off
yesterday while driving on the freeway. Now it wont
start but sounds like it wants to. A friend said it
might be an electrical problem.

Just check the spark to see if it is white in color, it should not be orange in color. Also check for the proper fuel pressure. It should be 56 to 63 lbs from the Schrader Valve. Best changing the fuel filter for most accurate reading.
