I have a Chevy suburban and my oil pressure keeps jumping up and down?

It sounds like a sender or the gauge itself, or both. I don't think it could be the oil pump or something mechanical would just fail.

What year and what size motor?


Is it jumping up and down while idling or at a constant speed? I assume you checked your oil level?
