My mini cooper 2017 used to get me how many miles until I needed to refuel,
for example; 250 miles then it would have the fuel sign symbol next to it. It
seems to have disappeared off my screen and I don't know how to get it back

Watch a YouTube video, or take it in to whoever you bought it from. Providing you bring it to them, it should be free.
