Question type: Shopping & Pricing

If a car is marked at a certain price on this site..
even if it’s a mistake and I make a offer for the
marked price that the seller is asking on here...Do
they have to honor that?

No. I just connected a dealer about a car listed on CarGarus. I expressed interest in the car because that price quoted was more than fair. I talked to the dealer's representative and was told that they had connected CarGarus almost a month earlier about the price found on CarGarus and that the price was several thousand dollars below the actual asking price. The representative of the dealership said he was at a lost as to why the CarGarus stated price had not been changed.

No, they are not obligated to sell you the vehicle at a price that was a mistake.
