Open blow off valve

Question type: Car Customization

Just recently put a turbo on my car and
was wondering how to get it to the place to
get tuned. Can I run my car with an open
blow off valve to go a couple miles down
the road or should I just have it towed.

Undoubtably tow it, or disconnect the turbo from your intake for the drive down the road. With a stuck open blow off valve, air would be sucked in every time you release the throttle. It's just like backpressure with an exhaust leak, but you'd be potentially damaging the fins of your turbo, rather than clogging a cat on your exhaust. Detach it, or find a way to seal the valve temporarily; only if for a very short drive
