The difference between the two is a matter of tire width. Also you can’t just put the dodge rim on a Chevy without first checking the bolt pattern.
The difference between these tires is much more than just width. Your friend's tires are too short and not up to the capacity of your vehicle. A 2.9" difference in the tires height will cause the speedometer to be way off and may affect handling and braking distance. There is also a substantial difference in the width of the tires. Your vehicle was designed for the larger tires. Please do yourself a favor and get the correct size tire for your Traverse.
