2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Fishtails

Asked by dbsuperb Jan 25, 2018 at 08:16 PM

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Dodge Ram fishtails any time the road is wet or just the slightest slippery.
Usually happens when I pull out from my side street onto the main road, and if I
put to much gas on it will fishtail every time.  I have heard something with
differential, tires, and to much power.  Why does my truck do this

you have no weight in the box. I don't know of any pick up that does not do that.

Alter your driving style to be more conservative. Also check the tread on the rear tires. I am guessing you have a 5.7 Hemi, my 2014 Ram is a handful when the road is wet and the foot is to the floor.
