Question type: General

Hi, i was wondering if anyone knew on how to removea slightly stripped seat
bolt. The bolt isnt completely stripped, just a little rounded. i got it out half way,
but by ratchet just keeps riding off of it. I'm also trying to avoid using an easy
out as well, but if i have to, i'll do it. Just looking for suggestions, thanks!

try spraying it and working it back tight then loose.

I was using i think a 14 mm socket, the bolt was also being very stubborn, but it came out a little, i sprayed them with penetrating oil when i left.

Sometimes you can file two flats on the head which will give you the grip you need to remove the bolt.

I'll go out and buy some turbo sockets, i heard they're good for removing stripped bolts.
