Do you have any obd codes? A bad cam shaft sensor can keep a vehicle from running. Can try replacing sensor. If sensor good have to probe deeper, might mean timing is off (timing chains).

No codes...just put new snow tires on...instead of 55 I put on 50 to give me more room for the snow kick out...can that make a difference? Really? For the timing?

So no # for the obd codes ...just discriptions of the problem. ...started with all cylinders not firing at different times...then changed...and I get the cam shaft sensor notification

you write: "started with all cylinders not firing at different times", which sounds like "random multiple misfires". Have you tried a cylinder drop test to determine if one (or more) cylinder(s) is worse than the others? If all are bad, can be sign coil is bad, or control module. You also say you have a code for cam position sensor? Have you tested said sensor or replaced it? Cam (and crank) position sensor inputs are used by the 'Engine Management System' (EMS) to determine if misfires are occurring. You've eliminated plugs and wires, but you still have a few more tests to run to determine if you have a bad coil, control module, or cam sensor. I don't pretend to know much about Audi's so maybe try a good Audi forum for additional help.
