Fun reliable car to buy with $3,000 or less budget?

I'm a college student looking to buy a car with good performance with a
manual transmission, than I can easily get parts for and the car looks good.
something that a 6'4" guy won't look funny getting out of lol

You need to scale back your expectations. Your budget can get you an older, high mile car but not much else. You could look for a 20 year old Mustang but most will have been beat to death by Ricky Racer and his buddies.
