440 Industrial Marine Engine Chryler Product in an old Box Truck what is the value of this?
I have an old Van that has a 440 Industrial Marine Engine. I want to sell this old Box Truck (no one has tried to start it in about 18 yrs, just parked it). How should I go about trying to sell it, and would anyone know the value of it?

Sounds like a project truck. A project vehicle sold as is won't fetch as much as a running driving vehicle, but then again it may cost more to make it run/drive than it can ever be sold for, so you have to figure out where to strike a balance.

I do not want to fix up the old Box Truck. I would like to sell the old truck just for the value of the 440 Marine Industrial engine. I just do not know what a fair price would be for everyone.
There are a ton of 440's out there, most are truck or RV motors with low-flowing heads so don't fetch that much, 300, maybe 400. Check around and see what a 440 marine motor fetches, you'll find plenty of price comparisons online. It would fetch more as a running motor obviously, but check at least if it can crank or turn by hand, otherwise you'll get bottom dollar. The 440 industrial motor is really designed for a heavy truck, it has limited appeal to the muscle car crowd, and in fact tend to be shunned because of the extreme duty they face. To turn into a viable muscle car engine involves a lot of machine work, replacing heads, intake, exhaust, etc., basically the only part worth keeping is the short block.
