inside...anyone know what this indicates and its level of
importance as we're on a trip and can't locate

can you post a picture. I checked you GL manual and see no icon that matches your description

    I would suggest that no one buys an mercedes diesel in sprinter body. No one wants to service them. I live in El Paso, a city of one million and there is no warranty service for 300 miles.
