Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1991 Toyota Celica with a 1.6 motor in it
and a 1990 Toyota Celica with a 2.2 motor in it.
Can those be swapped, i.e. the 1.6 in the 1990
instead of the 2.2.
