You do realize a 500 dollar car is going to need a lot of work to make it reliable, this make and model is one of the worst for reliability, right out of the box your going to most likely going to have to do engine work, at a bear minimum it going to cost about 5 to 800 bucks just to get the engine running properly. Then there could be other problems that pop up after you get it running. I would back away from this one unless you can do all the work yourself and have a good parts supplier.

I always recommend to buy a vehicle that cost about $3-5K at a min. That way you know you have something to work with, is safe and will last you few years. I personally recommend a vehicle around $10K, with just under 100K miles, That way you get another 10 years out of it by performing some maintenance work on it when it needs it.
