What's a good (and cheap) way I get rid of these
little scratch marks from my car? Just bought it
used like this, scratch remover compound helps
only slightly.

That looks bad. Meguiar's makes a lot of great products which can help. I would start with their Clear Coat Safe Polishing Compound and finish up with the Gold Class™ Carnauba Plus Paste Wax. If the scratches are bad you may need to power buff the car. Meguiar's website has lots of paint care advice so check it out.
