Will a 96 F-150 automatic transmission fit in a 93
F150

Might fit but will not work. '93 controlled by OBD1 and the '96 is controlled by a OBDII computer.

No, it will not shift since computer will not be able to communicate with it and the check engine light will always be on for same reason

GREAT to hear these answers!! I totally over looked the OBD difference. I just had a guy tell me a few days ago that I could change out my back tank and put in a Bronco gas tank in my pick up so could travel further distances without stopping!! Hmm. But everything else he told me was actually a lie. ( Things like 2 separate fuses control the 2 different gas pumps and both of them are 20A). NO... one fuse is on a series circuit with the relay. you pull out the fuse while the motor is running and it stops running when the selector is on either tank. WOW
