I got a '95 dodge Dakota 5.2 with a 46 rh transmission 4x4. My problem is the 2high keeps popping out of gear. Could it be the linkage or snap ring to the tail shaft in the housing? Any information would be helpful.

I have a 2004 Dodge Durango. While driving, I lost all power to the wheels, yet all electrical and engine seemed to be operating. Pulled over, and it would not move , regardless of what gear I put it in ( N, R, D, 1, 2 ) My first guess is the transmission went out, but could there be a sensor or other cause for this. I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent 1.6L. I just changed the rear drums, shoes, and all of the springs. When I move the car, I can hear a noise that sounds like a spring popping. Also, my parking brake lifts up a lot more than before, but it still works. I put all of the springs on correctly, the shoes are on the right side, and the adjuster is on correctly. I did have trouble putting on the drum and had to adjust it quite a bit. I checked the rotation of the wheel and it lagged nicely. I’m not sure what this spring noise could be or if it’s normal for new springs. If you have any ideas about what the noise could be, it would be helpful. 7 Answers

I have an 01 s10 manual that i cant get out of neutral, when i try an push the shifter into gear it makes a nasty sound. is this a transmission issue or a master cylinder problem, my clutch sinks all the way too the floor there is no leverage in the pedal? any help would be appreciated. 3 Answers

question i'm still having the same problem my car is still popping out of fourth gear and now I have to hold it down in the fourth gear the whole time this is the third time my car has been in the shop first time they fix the shifter cables second time they fix the shifter fork and now they can't figure out what else it could be in they've had my at least a month and a half now 1 Answer
