Went to Carfast in El Cajon to look at 2008 Jeep
Wrangler listed on their website for $18,900. During
test drive I heard noise and asked the sales
manager to have it checked then call me. William
provided me a print out of the sales price of
$18,900 along with the tax, license and registration
fees. The next day William called me and stated he
took it to the dealerships mechanic and it was
determined to be something with the clutches and
differential (I am not exactly sure what he was
talking about). William told me that it was a
$176.00 part and he wasn't sure yet what the labor
would be and since they had to fix this they would
be raising the price to $19,900. The jeep is now on
their website for that price. Needless to say... I
informed William to pound sand.
Good you knew when to walk away.
Good job. Don't fall victim to used car salesman talk.
