Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2008 Toyota tundra overheating and fifth and six
gear while towing... when I'm not towing fifth and
sixth gear is totally fine and normal .  But when I'm
towing my trailer when I hit fifth or sixth gear my
water temperature goes up to make it go down I put
my truck in manual mode and go to fourth gear and
it comes down back to normal

You might be lugging the engine. I always use lower gears when towing, especially on any kind of grade.
