Best sounding exhaust?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So, right now on my 98 dodge ram 1500 I have a
flowmaster exhaust on it. sounds ok but i don't
really like it. sounds kinda bad. what is the best
route to go? I'm thinking about going to a straight
pipe from cat back, how would that sound?

Flowmaster makes a lot of different mufflers for different sounds. A straight pipe will earn you some noise tickets. Try glass packs for a unique sound.

I don't know what i want to do, I want a deeper louder sound that doesn't sound like shit.

Try Borla.
